Fast Swim Academy OnPace · online training
OnPace is the Fast Swim Academy training app. Not a template. Not a library of workouts you scroll through and guess at. Maria writes a plan for your stroke, your schedule, your pool, and the goal you’re actually chasing — and it lands in the app, month by month. You tell her where you are and where you want to get to. She writes the plan. You swim it.
A single 12-week PDF is a guess about who you’ll be in three months. Writing month by month means the plan responds to what actually happened: what clicked, what didn’t, what got skipped because life happened.
Current times or distances, how many days a week you can swim, pool length, the equipment you have access to, and what you’re training for.
A real coach writes it — not an algorithm, not a template. It lands in the OnPace app, session by session.
Every session is written out in full, so you walk on deck knowing exactly what you’re doing.
At the end of the month Maria looks at how it went — and writes the next one around what actually happened.
Three ingredients, in the right order. Technique first, then load — the smallest stimulus that produces adaptation, not the biggest workload you can survive.
Every stroke problem has a drill that fixes it — breathing that swallows water, a catch that slips, a kick that goes nowhere, a pull that’s too wide. Your plan uses the drills that fix your specific issues, and the drill set changes as you improve. You’re not repeating the same four drills for twelve weeks with the distance nudged up.
Full sets with distances, intervals, and effort targets. Effort is prescribed by energy system, so you know whether a set is meant to feel easy and controlled or genuinely hard. That takes the guesswork out of “how fast should this be?”
The plan gets harder in the right order. Technique first, then load. Volume only increases when the mechanics can hold up under it. Piling on yards early buys you a fast few weeks and then a plateau, an injury, or both.
The value
Most swimmers plateau because they’re repeating the same workout with the same flaws. More laps doesn’t fix a stroke. The right drill, done in the right order, does.
OnPace is for adult swimmers who train on their own and want a real coach behind the plan.
Building a stroke from scratch, with the mechanics laid down in the right order from day one.
You already show up. OnPace makes the pool time count — every session with a purpose.
The swim leg stops being the part you survive. Race-specific pacing, sighting, and endurance built in.
Working on times — with drills and progression aimed at the seconds you’re chasing.
